American Mass murderer Charles Manson has been granted a license to marry a 26-year-old woman who has been visiting him in prison.
According to the Guardian, the marriage license was issued on 7th November to Manson and Afton Elaine Burton.
Burton left her Midwestern home nine years ago and moved to Corcoran, California, the site of the prison, to be near Manson.
The license indicated that the couple has 90 days to get married or they will have to apply again. However, there is no wedding date mentioned in the license.
Burton maintains various websites advocating for Manson's innocence. She said that she loved him, believes that he is innocent and that he would get a new trial.
