Hollywood actress Amy Adams will continue playing the princess role in 'Disenchanted' which is a belated sequel to Disney's 2007 hit, 'Enchanted.'
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Adam Shankman is in talks to direct the follow-up, which featured the 42-year-old star as an animated princess accidentally transported to contemporary Manhattan.
James Marsden co-starred as her prince charming, who follows her down a wormhole, while Patrick Dempsey played a New Yorker who falls for the out-of-place princess despite being engaged.
The sequel to the film is said to focus on Adams' character questioning her happily-ever-after life and accidentally triggering events that overturn lives in the city.
'Disenchanted' is set to start shooting next summer.
