A man called Sam Matthews decided to get drunk five nights in a row to find out how to cure the dreaded hangover in the morning.

Matthews found that an IV drip work better than any other cure that he tried. He called up a doctor and paid him 250 dollars for the privilege, and said he felt better than if he hadn't drunk a thing, News.com.au reported.

People also swear that Vegemite on toast can help them cure their hangover, which is good as it puts something inside the stomach and the vitamin B helps.

Bananas are also recommended as they have sugar, potassium plus they are a natural antacid that help with nausea.
