Anil Kapoor's '24' season 2 goes on floors

There is some good news for those, who are waiting for a sequel to the television series '24,' as its second season has finally gone on floors.

Sharing a sneak peek from the popular suspense thriller's set, Anil Kapoor, who plays the lead role in the show, recently took to his Instagram page and shared a selfie with Sikander Kher, writing, "Jai Singh Rathore and Haroon Sherchand #24 #season2 #onset # film city #Sikandarberrykher."

Directed by Abhinay Deo, the first season that spanned 192 episodes over eight seasons was aired from 4 October, 2013 through 21 December, 2013 and was based on the American series of the same name.

Anil, who had previously featured in the American version of the '24' series playing President Omar Hassan, bought the official rights of '24' in November, 2011.

The second season will depict the mission of saving the Country from a tragedy and later exposing the culprits involved in the planning and executing that tragedy.

New star cast included Sakshi Tanwar, Surveen Chawla, Sikander Kher (in negative role), Mudhurima Tuli, Asish Vidyarthi among others.
