Antraweb Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a master Tally partner has taken an initiative of training around 10,000 people on Goods and Services Tax (GST).
GST is a comprehensive indirect tax on manufacture, sale and consumption of goods and services throughout India to replace taxes levied by the central and state governments. With partnering Tally for over two decades, Antraweb has played an important role in Taking Tally ERP on a global platform.
With Tally proving to be an important platform for filing returns under GST, Antraweb felt the need to train people from all types of businesses to be GST ready.
With India gearing for GST, Antraweb organizes six sessions weekly to educate businesses to prepare for the biggest revolution since 1991. Through some special and innovative programs Antraweb plans to educate the aforementioned people from SMEs on how to use GST for filing IT returns.
"We are taking a two step approach to educate the SMEs. First we are touching the subject of GST Impact on the business and the preparedness required before the launch. Once GST is rolled out, our focus shall change to How the GST can be implemented in their organisation using Tally.ERP 9 software," said one of the Directors at Antraweb Technologies, Nevil Sanghvi.
Riyaz Tamboli, another Director of Antraweb Technologies said, "Looking at the scale it will be impossible to do this on one to one basis. So we are conducting large format training sessions through regular seminars and also conduct online workshops to reach people at remote locations. We intend to train around 10,000 people in the process. This shall be our contribution to the mammoth reform happening in the country."
The whole of India is waiting for GST to roll out from July and the task of training huge number of people from small, medium and large enterprises is no less than a tedious task. Yet, with apt knowledge, proficiency and zest, Antraweb Technologies is trying to connect GST with every individual by making them understand the realism of this new Tax structure.
