FoneFox team have found out that the Apple Watch is quite water resistant as the watch was still ticking away after it was submerged in the shallow end of a pool.

According to TechCrunch, Apple Watch's capacitive touch screens tend to face some problems under water but the device still works.

Apple has not marketed its water resistance much and the only mention is somewhere in footnotes buried deep at the bottom of a spec list.

The Apple Watch's water resistance is rated at IPX7, which means that it should survive occasional dips up as deep as 1M for 30 minutes.
