Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Arun Jaitley on Saturday ruled that there was no scope for the Congress to come power let alone with the help of a third front.
Jaitley was responding to External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid's reported statement on Saturday where he said that the Congress could consider extending support to the Third front or taking its help, if necessary to form the government at the Centre after Lok Sabha polls.
"The certainty of the Congress being reduced to a two- digit party is quite evident. But a leapord never changes its spots. So now Salman Khurshid is talking in terms of a concoction of third front which is a highly failed idea. I don't think situation will ever come to that. People are going to give a decisive mandate and have a NDA government. There is no space now for these 'merchants of instability'," Jaitley said.
