20th Century Fox's 'Assassin's Creed' film has been set for a December 2016 theatrical release.

The Michael Fassbender starring movie, which is based on Ubisoft's popular video games, was originally scheduled for August 7th 2016, but was pushed back late last year, the Verge reported.

In addition to this, Fox has also dated its new 'X-Men' spinoff 'Gambit' for October 2016 release, and declared that Channing Tatum will star as the card-shooting mutant Remy LeBeau. The character had first appeared in 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine', where Canadian actor Taylor Kitsch had played the part.
