Also present at the event was Dr. Muktesh Chander (IPS), Special Commissioner (Traffic) Delhi Police who said that people should follow the traffic rules. Roads have to be properly constructed and maintained for pedestrians to avoid the accidents. To implement the roads safety in Delhi, nearly 45% are the pedestrians who died on the road accidents. To avoid the road accidents in Delhi, we need to have proper footpath for them, cross over bridges.

Lack of effective appraisal and assessment has resulted in entry of 'Fly by Night' operators and unorganized dealers / agents, some of whom don't even have a PAN/TIN Number and indulge in cash sales and issuance of false bills / certificates, production in residential area buildings leading to evasion of Excise, Sales Tax & Service Tax and flouting of Labour and factory laws. This arises to no audit trail leading back to operator in case of non operation of limiter, said Mr. Anand.
