'Atlantis' e-books by A.G. Riddle have been acquired by CBS Films for its movie adaption, it has been revealed.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the first e-book in the "Origin trilogy", The Atlantis Gene, was self-published and released in March 2013 followed by The Atlantis Plague in November 2013 and The Atlantis World in May 2014 and the final e-book reached number one on the Amazon Science Fiction rankings.
The story is about a brilliant geneticist and an international counterterrorism agent who must team up to prevent a global pandemic and to discover the truth behind the origins of humanity.
Creative executive Winnie Kemp will handle the project for CBS Films.
