A splendid performance by Australian bowlers helped them to clinch a 59-run win over England in the first Royal London one day international of the five-match series at Southampton on Thursday.
Replying to Australia's target of 306, England scored 246 runs in 45.3 overs.
Opener Jason Roy and James Taylor contributed 67 and 49 respectively.
Skipper Eoin Morgan scored 38 before getting out to Shane Watson.
For the Australians, fast bowlers Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, Shane Watson and Nathan Coulter-Nile claimed two wickets each.
Mitchell Marsh and Glenn Maxwell took a wicket each.

Earlier, opting to bat first, Australian opener Joe Burns (44) and David Warner (59) provided a solid 76-run opening stand.
