Avanse Financial Services appoints Amit Gainda as CEO

New-age education finance Non Banking Financial company Avanse Financial Services on Tuesday announced the appointment of Amit Gainda as its Chief Executive Officer.

Focused on providing education loans to Indian students in an easy, quick and responsible manner, the company enables Indian students aspiring for a better education, leading to an independent and bright future.

With over two decades of diverse experience in the BFSI sector, Amit Gainda

is an accomplished business leader having held leadership positions at DHFL and managing SME and Mortgage Loan Assets.

Having led a 500+ team of professionals across the country and building the business from ground up, Amit will drive Avanse's next round of growth to further consolidate its leadership in the education finance space.

Having already been part of the senior leadership at DHFL, I am confident that Amit's new responsibility will help Avanse scale up and institutionalise the education finance business in a robust and fast-paced manner. Earlier, Gainda helmed leading finance companies like Bajaj Finance Ltd., GE Money and Citigroup. He has rich cross-functional experience across Sales and Marketing, Distribution and Product Management, and Risk and Collections.

He is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt in the DMAIC methodology. A management graduate in finance and marketing, he also has completed an Executive Education program in General Management from INSEAD, Singapore and France.

An acknowledged professional, Amit has spearheaded various projects in the domains of customer centricity, operational efficiency, product innovation, etc. for which he has won various awards and accolades in his previous assignments.
