An average person spends almost a year of their working life off sick, it has been revealed.
A study has shown that Britons take an average of eight sick days per year which works out at 360 days over a 45-year career, the Mirror reported.
Among the most common reasons for long-term absence are stress and depression which take an average recovery time of 81 days.
