While the makers of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt-starrer 'Brahmastra' have something special planned for their fans today, the director of the film Ayan Mukerji made his Instagram debut.
Ayan, who is collaborating with Alia for the first time, shared an anime from his upcoming sci-fi film which shows a cartoon version of the lead pair against a background with several rays of light.
"Part 1: Love #brahmastra (P.S.: going to take some getting used to this new Instagram life)." read the caption.
He named his Instagram account as @boy_dreaming.
Soon after Ayan's Insta debut, Alia welcomed her director with a picture of the duo and wrote, "That's our beautiful director .. @boy_dreaming..Trying to figure out his first post..Give him lots and lots of love he's my heart and soul and also the most entertaining amazing person I know.. And for any info on Brahmastra .. He's the oneeeeee."
Karan Johar, too, posted a heartfelt caption alongside a picture of himself with Ayan. "He was a baby when he joined us at @dharmamovies ! He still is ....but a baby with a vision! I hope his dreams come true and his thoughts connect and resonate deeply with all of you! Please welcome the boy who never stopped dreaming AYAN MUKERJI on Instagram as @boy_dreaming #BRAHMASTRA"
Apart from Ranbir and Alia, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Tollywood actor Nagarjuna.
'Brahmastra' is first part of a sci-fi trilogy which has been created by Ayan. It is slated to release around Christmas this year.
