Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has reportedly said that forward Lionel Messi is not for sale and the club is planning to discuss a new contract with the Argentine.
The 26-year-old four-time Ballon d'Or winner is said to be a target for French side Paris St-Germain.
According to the BBC, Bartomeu said that the club would sit and negotiate a new contract with him to ensure he's the best-paid player.
Messi scored 60 goals in 50 appearances last season but has struggled to match that goalscoring form in 2013-14.
Barca coach Gerardo Martino said that Messi can do everything and if he succeeds in other facets of his game, it doesn't matter if he scores, the report added.
