Bastar police chief Kalluri absolved of rights violation charges

Inspector General of Police, Bastar, has been absolved of rights violation.

Kalluri had been attached to the Raipur Police Headquarters following the charges levelled against him. He was charged of human rights excesses, mistreatment of journalists, researchers and activists. He had even issued hard orders against activities Nandini Sundar and Archana vijay.

He could not appear before the commission due to his medical complications and was even referred to a hospital in Vishakhapatnam.
