A pic posted on David Beckham's official Facebook page has caused embarrassment in Vietnam.
The pic shows showing a woman in Hanoi taking a picture of him from her scooter while not wearing a helmet and carrying an infant between her knees, which sparked widespread criticism, News.com.au reported.
The pic, which has attracted over 18,000 comments, had Beckham's caption saying that he's all for fans taking a picture but not sure this is the safest way to do it!"
Users took the social networking site saying that it was an ugly face of Vietnam, while another user said that the woman was crazy for taking a pic that way with her baby on her lap.
The photo attracted widespread coverage in local newspapers and television over the weekend, with many articles pointing out that the woman was breaking the law.
