Beyonce is leading the MTV Video Music Awards with eight nominations, including video of the year, best female and best choreography.
The singer's 'Drunk in Love', performed alongside husband Jay-Z, is up against Pharrell Williams' 'Happy' for best video, the BBC reported.
Rappers Eminem and Izzy Azalea have got seven nominations each, including best male and female, while Miley Cyrus for Wrecking Ball, Sia's hit Chandelier and Fancy by Iggy Azalea have also been nominated for video of the year.
The awards ceremony, which would be held in Inglewood, California, on 24 August, will feature Usher and Ariana Grande's performance.
