After a wait of 21-long-years, Bill Pullman finally found a stage to deliver one of the most popular movie speeches of all time.
The 63-year-old-actor gave a keynote address at the 2017 commencement ceremony of Warren Wilson College in Asheville, North Carolina and surprised everyone by reciting a part of his
character's famous speech from the movie 'Independence Day'.
"You will not go quietly into the night. Because today is your graduation day," told the 'American Ultra' star to all the 140 students present there.
The actor played President Whitmore in the cult 1996 alien action film and reprised his role in the 2016 sequel.
In his speech, Pullman said he had been waiting a couple of decades to get the chance to recite his Independence Day line at a graduation ceremony.
The actor also took photos with students and their families.
Reportedly, the reason for which the actor chose to speak at WWC was Pullman's son Lewis and Jack are alumni of the college.
