At least four people were killed and few others injured in an explosion in Birbhum district on Friday.
10 others were also injured while making bombs in Birbhum district.
According to police, a sudden explosion occurred in the afternoon where five people were killed and few others injured.
Earlier last month, two people were killed and another injured in a crude bomb explosion in West Bengal.
The explosion took place when the men were making bombs at an open ground in Bindarpur village in the early hours today, a police officer said.
Both the victims were in their 30s and their identities were yet to be established.
On May, 2015, a crude bomb blast took place at Trinamool Congress leader (TMC) leader Buro Hansda's residence in Ilambazar in West Bengal's Birbhum district which left his wife dead.
While earlier on March, 2015, the West Bengal Police also recovered over 200 crude bombs from a farmland in Bibhum district.
