Expressing confidence of her party's splendid show in Uttar Pradesh, Bollywood actress and Mathura MP Hema Malini has said that the saffron party has worked extremely hard to ensure that the results are in its favour this timer.
"What is better to know than the fact that BJP is winning as per the exit polls? I have done quite a lot of campaign; we have all worked very hard for the election," she said.
The BJP is likely to form the next government in UP or become the largest party, ahead of the SP-Congress alliance, indicated exit polls on Thursday, 36 hours before the actual results.
Times Now- VMR in its Exit poll for Uttar Pradesh has predicted 190 to 210 seats for BJP out of 403 seats and 110 to 130 for SP- Congress combine while 57 to 74 seats for BSP.
If the projections are true, it would reiterate PM Modi's popularity in UP. The BJP had won 71 out of 80 seats in the state in 2014 Lok Sabha polls.
