Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA O.P. Sharma on Tuesday accused Delhi Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goel of misusing his post after being evicted from the assembly during an emergency session called by the AAP Government.
"Foul language was used against the Lieutenant Governor and Modi ji, and I told the Speaker he should not act like a member. How does it matter what our strength in the assembly is, the ratio is that of the Kauravas and Pandavas. The speaker is misusing his post and is being unfair," said Sharma.
According to reports, Sharma and two other BJP MLAs were protesting against the Speaker's criticism of Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung while discussing the recent notification issued by the MHA on administrative jurisdiction in the capital city.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Government has convened a two-day emergency session of the Legislative Assembly beginning.
