The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday said that any common man can now donate funds to the party.
"Every party needs funds. We used to ask workers to donate to the party but now have extended it to the common man to contribute, as they wish", Uttarakhand State President Ajay Bhatt told ANI.
He added that the funds are being accepted through cheques and demand drafts, while they are not accepting funds from the government employees or crooks.
"Funds being accepted only through cheques and demand drafts, while we are not accepting funds from government employees, officers or crooks", Bhatt continued.
