Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Meenakshi Lekhi, on Sunday, lashed out at the Congress party and accused it of diverging from development agenda and engaging in caste based and communal politics.
As campaigning for last leg of nine-phased polls came to an end, the BJP attacked Congress party for playing what it called ' dirty politics'.
"It seems Congress has not learnt its lesson. They have repeatedly tried to divert the agenda of progress sometimes to communal politics, sometimes to caste based politics, sometimes flouting the legal norms and specially last week the kind of pictures which were been shown, just to remind you all and it is in this context that one knew that they can get down to any type of dirty politics just to gain some seats and win some seats," said BJP spokesperson Meenakshi Lekhi.
