The president of the Uttar Pradesh unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Laxmikant Bajpai, on Saturday, welcomed the Election Commission's decision directing the state government to remove Moradabad Senior Superintendent of Police ahead of the by-polls.
"I welcome the EC's decision to accept the request of BJP to hold free and fair election in the coming by election in Moradabad. By removing the SSP it has been proved that EC is determined to hold free and fair election," Bajpai said.
