Bharatiya Janata Party on Sunday said that it would not retract from the decision of choosing Narendra Modi as its election campaign leader.

Spokesperson of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said in Kanpur that there was "no question of retracting on the decision taken by Bharatiya Janata Party about Narendra Modi whether the alliance breaks once or ten times."

"In the coming days, Bharatiya Janata Party will be seen with new leaders and parties. There is no question of an alternative. Those who are with us we are respecting them and we do not want to snap ties with them. But if someone is adamant about breaking of alliance then what can we do," he added.
