Commenting on the two posters tweeted by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Rajnath Singh, Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit on Tuesday said the BJP has made a blunder by nominating an undemocratic person like Narendra Modi as their prime ministerial candidate, and warned that the party would be shattered if the latter came to power.
"The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is not the same anymore. It is only centered around Modi now, and has become a one man party. They have nominated such a person as their prime ministerial candidate who is completely undemocratic, and whose ideologies are against our constitution, culture and society," said Dikshit.
"But its okay, the BJP is going to realize it later. They do not understand that the party is going to suffer because of this man. Nothing will happen to the country as the Congress is there to save it but the BJP will be shattered," he said.
"Though, it will be a good thing for us as we always wanted the BJP to get finished somehow," he added.
After facing a lot of criticism for the BJP being a one-man show, Singh yesterday tweeted an unseen poster starring himself, with the words "Ab Ki Baar, Bhajapa Sarkar (time for a BJP Government)."
But 33 minutes later, Modi was back on the forefront with the BJP chief re-tweeting the official party poster, with the slogan "Ab Ki Baar, Modi Sarkar (Time for a Modi Government)" which has generated a lot of confusion as well as speculations in the country.
