Blast heard in Peshawar, three injured

Three people have been injured in a blast near Phandu Road in Peshawar, Pakistan.

According to the Dawn, the injured have been admitted to Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar.

Television footage shows a badly damaged car at the site of the explosion, which has now been cordoned off.

The nature of the blast and its intended target are not yet known.

The incident comes less than a week after the deadly attack on Charsadda's Bacha Khan University which killed 21 people.
