Blast in Baramulla polling booth in Kashmir

A blast took place inside a polling station in Watergam in Baramulla district of Kashmir on Tuesday, a day ahead of polling in the constituency.

The polling station is housed in a government school building.

No casualties have been reported from the blast site so far.

The police are still investigating the case.

Militants in the area had earlier threatened to attack voters and polling booths.
