Australian offspinner Nathan Lyon is likely to retain his spot for the third Ashes Test as Coach Darren Lehmann indicates an all-pace attack might not be the best option despite the bouncy WACA pitch.

Lehmann indicated that Australia may field an unchanged team with high temperatures upto 40 degrees forecast for the Test against England beginning on Friday, News.com.au reports.

According to the report, a drying wicket and the prospect of using fast bowlers in short spells is expected to work heavily in Lyon's favour.
