West Indies legend Brian Lara will reportedly play alongside retired Indian maestro Sachin Tendulkar, who is the captain of the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), in the 50-over bicentenary match against a Rest of the World XI at Lord's on July 5.

Meanwhile, West Indies bowler Tino Best is the final name added to a Rest of the World side captained by Australian spin great Shane Warne, who took 19 wickets in four Tests at Lord's.

According to the BBC, Lara said that it would feel fantastic to play at such an iconic place on such a special occasion, mentioning the 200th anniversary of the famous ground.

The report mentioned that Warne would also be joined by former England batsman Kevin Petersen, Sri Lankan Muttiah Muralitharan and Pakistan's Shahid Afridi in the Rest of the World side, which will be managed by former South African captain Shaun Pollock. atsman Aaron Finch, his Australian teammate Peter Siddle, England wicketkeeper Chris Read and Pakistan paceman Umar Gul complete the MCC side, which will be managed by club president Mike Gatting.

It will be the second time Tendulkar has appeared at Lord's in such a fixture, having captained the Rest of the World side in the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Match in 1998, the report added.
