Broken promises reason behind John Mayer and Katy Perry split
Katy Perry parted her ways with John Mayer because he kept breaking promises and used to switch off his phone and disappeared all day and night.
An insider told HollywoodLife.com that last time the couple broke up Mayer won her back by making ton of promises that he was going to put her first, but he had fallen back into his old patterns.
The insider further stated that Mayer needed his alone time and that's why he used to disappear all day and night.
