Brie Larson starrer 'Captain Marvel' has finally found a new screenwriter.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Geneva Robertson-Dworet is set to write the script for the standalone superhero movie starring Brie Larson.
Meg LeFauve and Nicole Perlman were originally named to pen the script, but LeFauve, who wrote Pixar's 'Inside Out', is now writing and directing Disney's animated film 'Gigantic'.
Robertson-Dworet, who has made the Black List twice, adds the project to her upcoming slate of big titles titles, including the scripts for MGM's 'Tomb Raider' reboot, starring Alicia Vikander, and DC's female villains movie 'Gotham City Sirens', starring Margot Robbie and to be directed by David Ayer.
Helmed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, the movie stars Brie Larson as Captain Marvel and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury.
The flick is slated to release on March 8, 2019.
