Ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Poonch sector

Pakistan violated ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Sawjian area of Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch sector today.

Earlier in August, five Indian soldiers were killed by Pakistani Specialist Forces along the LoC in Poonch District prior to which they had also targeted Mendhar Sector, two posts of Border and Security Forces (BSF) in Kanachak sector and points near the Indian army's Durga post forcing the Indian side to retaliate.
