CEB acquires Indian talent analytics startup Talent Neuron for $15mn

US-based member advisory company, Corporate Executive Board (CEB) has reportedly acquired Indian talent analytics startup, Talent Neuron, for a deal expected to be around 10million to 15 million dollars.

Talent Neuron's acquisition is the third for CEB, after buying UK-based SHL and Valtera in 2012.

According to Tech Crunch, Talent Neuron was incubated by Zinnov, a management consulting firm based in Bangalore, two years ago and since then, it has acquired many customers who are paying for big data, analytics solutions focused on talent management and planning.

In its recent report, Talent Neuron analyzed talent shortage in the Silicon Valley and revealed that for every 100 people moving in, there are at least 120 moving out.

The report said that over past few years talent management and planning platforms have been launched that take advantage of big data analytics to offer customized solutions to customers ranging from Microsoft to even industrial giants such as ABB and General Electric and investors are beginning to see opportunity in this space.
