A team of health experts from Delhi has completed its assessment of the swine flu situation in Telangana and called for improving hygiene and pro-active testing of samples.

The three-member team has said that it will submit its report to the Centre as soon as it returns to the national capital.

The team comprised of Ashok Kumar and Dr. Pradeep from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and Dr. Shashi Khare from National Centre for Disease Control.

During their visit to Telangana capital Hyderabad, they met patients in swine flu wards set up in various hospitals.

They said that there is no need for panic, and opined that the number of swine flu cases will come down gradually with the rise in atmospheric temperatures.

Special wards have been set up in all district and area hospitals and additional stocks of medicines and swine flu testing kits have been sent to them.

Telangana Chief Minister Chandrasekhara Rao and Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya also visited some of the swine flu wards.
