Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sushil Kumar Modi hasasserted that the ruling party in the Centre has been trying to probe against the anonymous property allegedly owned by Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and his family for conversion of black money into white through shell companies.

Modi presented documents from the Registrar of Companies and added that Lalu's family has acquired many 'proxy' properties to substantiate his claims.

Attacking Lalu's sons, Sushil Modi said, "In 2008, a company called AB Export purchased a house in New Friends Colony (Delhi) for Rs five crore.

Delight Marketing Company Private Ltd was re-christened as 'LARA Projects Private Limited' in which Rabri Devi, Tejaswi and Tej Pratap were allegedly made sole directors in 2014.

He sought to know as to why would AK Infosystems buys land worth crores of rupees to hand it over to Prasad family and why would the company's owners give a Rs 1.05 crore loan to it to buy the land.

Sushil Modi further questioned as to why Mumbai-based gold and five diamond merchants owed loans of Rs. one crore each without interest to Lalu Yadav.
