Chelsea has extended their lead at the top of the Premier League to four points following a 3-1 victory over bottom-placed Fulham on Saturday away at the Craven Cottage.
Jose Mourinho's side took full advantage of second-place Arsenal's defeat at Stoke City and could stretch their lead even further next week as they face Tottenham Hotspur in the league while Arsenal and Manchester City are on FA Cup duty.
According to Sport24, Andre Schurrle's hat-trick, which came in 17 minutes at the start of the second half, took away any hopes of winning for the hosts, who however, saved face with a 74th-minute consolation goal by Jonny Heitinga.
Fulham remains at the foot of the table, four points adrift of safety, the report added.
