Chhattisgarh: CRPF head constable commits suicide, probe underway

In yet another incident, a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) head constable allegedly committed suicide in Sukma's Dornapal on Monday.

The police have started investigating the cause of the death of Diwakar Rao, a resident of Andhra Pradesh.

Late last night, an Army jawan committed suicide at Uniform Force Headquarters here.

The 32-year-old jawan used his service weapon and fatally shot himself.

Meanwhile, an FIR has been lodged in the Reasi Police Station and an investigation has been launched into the matter.

Earlier on May 12, a CRPF jawan named Anil Kumar of 35 Battalion allegedly committed suicide inside a paramilitary force training centre in Humhama area of Jammu and Kashmir's Budgam district.

Reportedly, he was found dead by his colleagues inside his room at the Regional Training Centre of the CRPF.
