China: At least 40 dead in power plant construction site accident

At least 40 people were killed after a under construction platform of a power plant's cooling tower collapsed in east China's Jiangxi Province Thursday.

The death toll was likely to rise further as an unknown number of people were still trapped and rescue work was underway, reports state owned Xinhua news agency

Five injured workers were sent to a local hospital.
