China will offer scholarships to Pakistani students in the subject of cultural studies at the master's level every year.
Chinese Cultural Counsellor You Yi revealed on Wednesday during a meeting with federal secretary of National History and Literary Heritage (NHLH) division Engineer Aamir Hasan, reports ARY News.
Speaking on the occasion, You Yi said that the Chinese government has approved the scholarships to Pakistani students and will bear all educational expenses. The scholarships will be provided to Pakistani students from the next year.
You Yi said cultural bonds between China and Pakistan are strengthening with the passage of time which is living example of everlasting friendship between the two countries.
It was also decided that Pakistan and China will join hands for promotion of cultural activities and explore more avenues of cooperation in different fields of fine arts.
Speaking on the occasion federal secretary Aamir Hassan said Pakistan and China have emerged as 'Iron brothers' due to their exemplary friendship.
He assured that the division will facilitate all efforts to promote cultural and literary relations between Pakistan and China which would bring both nations closer.
