Chinese Premier Li Keqiang has said that the country hopes that Pakistan will adopt effective measures in order to ensure protection of Chinese workers and projects in the country.
According to the Express Tribune, Li said that China wants to expand connections and work on assistance with Pakistan in all areas.
China always deems growing relations with Pakistan significant and supports the country's efforts to safeguard independence and sovereignty, said Li.
Li said that the China-Pakistan economic corridor development was a tactical background for carrying out practical collaboration for the two countries.
He also said that China was ready to work with Pakistan to maintain peace and promote development and prosperity.
