A new survey has revealed that Christmas Eve is the most popular day for men to propose.
A survey of 7,000 Brits by event agency Chillisauce.co.uk found that 24 percent of men will propose on the day before Christmas, although 22 percent of women would rather be proposed to on Valentine's Day, the Daily Star reported.
It was also found that 6 percent would opt for a Halloween proposal and 20 of women hope to get engaged on the anniversary of the day they met their partner.
Rachel Harrison, a spokesperson from Chillisauce, said that the internet is inundated with wedding statistics but there are very few surveys conducted solely around marriage proposals and they wanted to gain a better insight into what men and women want from a proposal to give the best advice to brides and grooms-to-be across the UK.
