Colin Trevorrow will be back to direct the third installment of the 'Jurassic World' franchise.
Trevorrow, who directed and co-wrote the first 'Jurassic World' in 2015, is currently working with 'Pacific Rim: Uprising' scribe Emily Carmichael.
"It's important to this franchise that we welcome new creative voices to keep our storytelling fresh and alive," the 41-year-old told Entertainment Weekly.
"I'm thrilled with the tension and beauty J.A. has brought to Fallen Kingdom, and I know Emily will add another layer of emotion to the concluding chapter of our trilogy."
The franchise's second film, 'Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom,' stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard and is set to hit the big screens in June.
Trevorrow, along with franchise patriarch Steven Spielberg, is executive producing the feature from director J.A. Bayona.
