Former England batsman Paul Collingwood has conceded that Eoin Morgan-led side doesn't seem to be advancing to the World Cup knock-out stages in the aftermath of two back-to-back debacles against Australia and New Zealand respectively.

Reflecting on England's dismal performance, Collingwood said that England has got the most powerful batting line-up they have ever had if they pick players like Ravi Bopara in the middle-order and Alex Hales up the top, adding that the harsh reality was England didn't look as if they would get out of the group at this stage, the Mirror reported.

Collingwood, who led England to the 2010 T20 World Cup title, has been roped in to assist the Scots at the tournament.

Scotland and England will face off against each other on Monday in Christchurch.

Backing Scotland to put up a strong performance, former T20 skipper said that the guys were getting closer and closer against international opposition, adding that at the moment England were playing at about 30 or 40 percent of their potential.
