Comedian Joel McHale will host the 2014 White House Correspondents' Dinner in May, according to reports.
Best known for his roles in 'The Soup' and 'Community', McHale was described as "sharp" and "funny" in an announcement made by the White House Correspondents' Association, Contactmusic reported.
The dinner is due to be held on May 3rd and will be celebrating its 100th year in 2014.
McHale will join the likes of Jay Leno, Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel and Seth Meyers who have also performed at the event.
The event is traditionally attended by the President, the First Lady and the Vice President.
