Former chief minister Sheila Dikshit on Friday said the Congress, which has already shown its work in the last 15 years, would not be ignored by the people of Delhi.
"Undercurrent is there that people won't ignore Congress, Yes, I feel so, we will definitely touch double digits," Dikshit told ANI.
The senior Congress leader also considered the three parties - Congress, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to be powerful.
"The three parties [BJP, AAP and Congress] are powerful. Kejriwal is working reliably, BJP is a stable party and Congress has already shown its work," she said.
In the 2013 Delhi assembly polls, the 15-year rule of Congress came to an end after the AAP bagged 28 seats and Congress with mere 8 seats. The election results gave a hung assembly wherein no single party evolved a clear majority.
