In order to enable easy access of all latest technology-related updates, CRB Tech solutions Pvt Ltd. launched an online magazine, 'TechTrail-on the trail of technology'.
www.techtrail.in is the first-of-its-kind magazine that offers update news, articles, interviews and reviews related to technology, technologists and tech-crazy people. The magazine in near future will prove itself as a one stop destination for everything and anything related to technology.
With veteran journalist Shriram Shinde as its editor, the magazine was launched at the hands of Pramod Chaudhari, Executive Chairman of Praj Industries Ltd and President of Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (MCCIA).
"An initiative like TechTrail is the need of the hour. Young readers should be the main target of the publication and it should help create interest in technology and innovation," said Chaudhari.
Stating that technology does not only mean Information Technology, Chaudhari added that the field of technology had a wider scope and this magazine can reach out to readers at an international level.
"It was high time; Pune had a publication dedicated exclusively to technology. Besides contributions from experienced media persons, the magazine features articles written by renowned technicians and experts from different fields of technology including information technology, manufacturing technology, agriculture and food technology," elaborated veteran journalist Shinde.
"We are happy to have an advisory board comprising Dr. Anant Sardeshmukh, DG, MCCIA, renowned IT expert Dr. Deepak Shikarpur, Dr. Rajendra Jagdale, Director General of Software Technology Park (STP), Dr. Ganesh Natarajan, Executive Chairman 5FWorld, Vishwas Mahajan, President TIE-Pune, veteran media person Anand Agashe and Dr. Nandkumar Kakirde, Director of Vidyabhavan. Prominent names among the contributors of Techtrail include, Dr. Triveni Goswami-Mathur, Dileep Athawale, Dr. Shumita Mahajan, Rajlakshmi Iyengar, Neeta Thoma, Sekhar Seshan, Sandeep Kortikar and Devika Purohit," added Shinde.
"This innovative idea will youngsters and also those who are interested in technology. It will help create larger interest in basic science, technology and innovation," revealed Dr. Anant Sardeshmukh, Director General, MCCIA.
Sardeshmukh also suggested that the magazine should provide a platform for R&S establishments to publish their work, this bridging the gap between academia and real R&D.
"It has always been our endeavor at CRB Tech to deliver more than what has been promised and TechTrail is on more such step in this direction. At CRB Tech, we do not merely train and place students, we tend to equip our trainees with skills that help them in performing the best in every possible field," added Mandar Abhyankar, Director-Operations at CRB Tech Solutions Pvt. Ltd.
Pradnya Anant, Assistant Director CRB Tech proposed a vote of thanks at the function which was attended by prominent personalities from the field of technology as well as media.
