New Delhi, Feb. 9 (ANI): Small entrepreneurs can avail loans worth Rs. one lakh crore provided by the government, which is keen to be seen the youth of the country becoming job creators, rather than job seekers.
Recently, Prime Minister Modi said there was a need for developing "personal sector" rather than public and private sector in which youth can become self-sufficient, start businesses and generate new employment avenues.
He said that the Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojna would be one such scheme for realising this objective.
The Prime Minister said the scheme would create employment opportunities for youth in the country leading to make youth self-sufficient.
The Micro Units Development and Refinance Agency Limited (MUDRA) focuses on the 5.75 crore self-employed who use funds totaling Rs. 11 lakh crore and provide jobs to 12 crore people.
