Cumberbatch, Sophie Hunter name their new-born Christopher Carlton

Benedict Cumberbatch and his wife Sophie Hunter have named their two-month old son Christopher Carlton Cumberbatch.

According to sources, the 'Sherlock' actor chose Carlton for his newborn because it was a family name which both the actor and his father Timothy share, The Mirror reports.

A representative of the couple said that Cumberbatch and Hunter, who tied the knot earlier this year, were happy to announce the arrival of their son.
